As a former Vice President of Health Care Finance and Care Management at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Ohio/Medical Mutual of Ohio, he has experiences with hospital and physician contracting and reimbursement; care management (Utilization Review, Case Management/Disease Management); provider credentialing and product development.
Part-time Challenges, Full-time Job: Reducing Workers’ Comp Claims – Teri Davidson is Risk Manager at RGIS, the world’s leading inventory service and employer of more than 25,000 people, 80% of whom are part time workers. Teri has more than 20 years of claims experience in all lines of business and over 8 years with RGIS. She combines her claims knowledge with safety and security training to enhance the Risk Management program at RGIS. She has experiences working for insurance companies, TPAs in addition to work at retailers and stadium venues, giving her extensive knowledge of part-time employee habits and associated risks.
Proactively Managing Employee Issues to Minimize Risks/Claims – Sindy Warren is an HR and Employment Law Consultant. She has been practicing law and helping employers comply with employment laws for nearly 15 years. For the past 4 years, Sindy managed Warren & Hays's predecessor, Proactive Employment Practices. She conducts workplace investigations, creates and presents training programs on a wide variety of employment law and human resources issues, and acts as an as-needed human resources department for private and public employers, both large and small, throughout Northeast Ohio.
