CLEVELAND – June 7, 2016 – On June 8, Danielle Klassen, Certified Wellness Practitioner and Senior Health Management Consultant at Oswald Companies, will present “The Diversity Divide in Wellness Programming: Appreciating and Leveraging Cultural Competency to Engage All Employees,” webinar for the National Wellness Institute.
This webinar outlines how organizations can identify diversity that exists within their employee population, and then maximize employee engagement through cultural competency in action: awareness, attitude, knowledge, and skills.
In addition to this premise, Klassen will provide “Wellness in Action” features based on her experiences with hundreds of clients, from a wide range of sizes and industries.
“By recognizing cultural differences, such as those that exist among health beliefs, practices, cultural needs and linguistic needs, a wellness program can be better tailored to meet the needs of a diverse population and ultimately produce positive health outcomes,” said Klassen.
The webinar is open to NWI members and non-members for a fee. Learn more and register here.
