With more than 17 years of insurance experience, Ben Osborne specializes in mitigating risks within the construction industry. As the son and grandson of union electricians, this has been a natural fit that has uniquely provided him with a lifelong construction industry perspective. Ben prides himself on helping his clients develop an improved risk profile by thinking creatively to provide long-term solutions.

In 2022, Ben received the Chairman’s Excellence Coin for his work chairing the first-ever Great Lakes Construction Conference hosted in Detroit. He continues to stay involved in the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) NW Ohio and Metro Detroit Chapters and is the recent past president of CFMA Metro Detroit.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS

Ben holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in business management from Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University. He has also earned the designation of Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist and Cyber Risk Manager. He is a sought-after speaker at national and regional CFMA events on construction risk management and suicide awareness. Additionally, he sits on the national committee for Construction Suicide Awareness.
