With over 25 years of strategic risk management experience across a broad range of clientele, Cathy leads Oswald’s Michigan locations in Bloomfield Hills and Grosse Pointe. While overseeing all Business Units, Cathy’s greatest expertise lies in the large-line Risk Management and Middle Market insurance brokerage segments, especially casualty and international risks. Passionate about conscious capitalism, Cathy engages her teams in regular volunteer service opportunities and has been recognized as a local thought leader around building company culture. She advises Oswald’s Employee Engagement Committee and is also a founding organizer and current advisor to Oswald’s Women’s Leadership Council which has allowed her to play an active role in the managerial advancement of women within the organization. Additionally, Cathy is President of Unison Risk Advisors’ North Carolina Captive Board and is a board member of Unison’s Bermuda Captive.

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS

Cathy holds a BA from Indiana University. She has earned the designation of Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and is a Licensed Insurance Counselor (LIC). She sits on the advisory board for the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber and the Detroit Skate Club. She is also board president of Susan G. Komen Detroit/Greater Michigan and an active member of the Detroit Athletic Club.
