David joined the Property and Casualty Practice at Oswald Companies in November 2021 with over 30 years of experience in the Retail and Insurance industries. His career at a Fortune 500 retailer presented the opportunity to lead a best-in-class Risk Management Team, with responsibility for Business Resiliency, including, but not limited to, Business Continuity Planning, Crisis Response and Management, Crisis Communication and Situational Awareness for global operations. Additionally, David led the teams responsible for outcomes across Workers’ Compensation (WC), General Liability (GL), Return to Work (RTW) and Property/Casualty Loss Control.
David is a graduate of Marshall University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. He earned his designation of Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) in 2011 and has represented companies on the local, state, and national level, including on the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) National Business Emergency Operations Center (NBEOC). He currently serves on both the Ambassador Council for Ohio’s Public Private Partnership (OP3) Program providing guidance and direction for development and growth, as well as the Ohio Health Care Association (OHCA) Life Safety/Emergency Preparedness Committee addressing safety exposures in Long Term Care facilities.
