With over 10 years in risk management and insurance advisory experience, John Mark leads Oswald’s Real Estate Practice supporting clients with over 275k+ units and over 250M square feet of commercial space in 40+ states. John Mark has presented to the Cleveland BAR association, at the National Student Housing Conference, and at the ICSC round table on a variety of risk and emerging real estate trends.

John Mark’s Real Estate Risk Management experience includes new ground-up development, re-development, historic tax credit, LIHTC, multi-family, student housing, office, mixed-use assets, and private equity.  He brings with him expertise on several risk topics including due diligence, financing, pre-development, construction, property management, joint ventures, and contractual risk transfer.

Education and Professional Affiliations
With a BA from John Carroll University, John Mark is an active Board Member of EDEN, Inc., and a member of both the Northern Ohio Apartment Association and ICSC.
