Moira G. Lyon is the Market Leader for the Cincinnati branch of Oswald Companies and she focuses on corporate development for Unison Risk Advisors. She manages the overall growth strategy in Southwest Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky with a passion for risk management. Moira additionally spends her time working with agency owners to teach them about the benefits of joining Unison Risk Advisors. She co-leads the merger and acquisitions strategy to find like-minded organizations focused on growth and forward-thinking solutions.

Moira has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Previously, Moira spent her career on the carrier side of the business with Great American Insurance. Prior to Great American, Moira insured historic properties nationwide through a partnership with the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Moira earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and management from South Carolina University and has completed courses at the Wharton Aresty Institute of Executive Education at the University of Pennsylvania.  .

Moira is a member of the 2022 class of Leadership Cincinnati and is a proud graduate of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s C-Change program and Leadership Action. She was named to the Class of 2020 Women of Influence, given by Lead Tribune Media Group and deemed a 2019 Rising Star through the YWCA of Greater Cincinnati. In 2015, she was selected as a winner of the Cincinnati Business Courier’s Forty Under 40 Award, an honor recognizing Greater Cincinnati’s next generation of young leaders and innovators.

Moira loves giving back to her community by serving on the boards of United Way of Greater Cincinnati Foundation and Kenwood Country Club. She is also co-chair of the board of United Way Tocqueville Society,.

When Moira is not spending time with her clients and team at Oswald, she is an active traveler with her husband, Joe, and two dogs, Oliver and Tucker.
