Spinelli says, “When I first wrote about the topic of ICHRAs (individual coverage health reimbursement accounts) in a February 2020 issue of Crain’s, I closed with the question; “Is ICHRA a health insurance game changer?” More than two years later, and after analyzing hundreds of cases and enrolling thousands of employees − through the challenges of a pandemic no less − the answer is yes, it has changed the way employers can tailor health insurance for individual employees.”
