Oswald Companies has hired Dave Zastudil as the managing director of its Property & Casualty business unit. This strategic addition to Oswald’s leadership team further positions the firm for growth.

Zastudil joins Oswald after nine years with a national insurance brokerage firm, where he was area vice president and a senior commercial producer focused on the construction, manufacturing and social services industries. Prior to joining the insurance industry, Dave spent 13 years in the NFL as a punter for the Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens and Arizona Cardinals. Zastudil earned his bachelor of business administration degree in marketing and finance from Ohio University.

Oswald’s Property & Casualty practice has been overseen by Oswald’s Michigan market leader Cathy Kosin, who will now broaden her role to focus on leadership and growth efforts toward the firm’s expanding Michigan presence. Oswald recently announced the acquisition of Brieden Consulting Group, an employee benefits firm in Michigan. Kosin will lead the effort to merge that firm into Oswald, as well as lead future growth efforts.
