[Nov. 10 Event] Employer PTO and Minimum Wage Policies Require Attention by Feb. 19
Earlier this year, the Michigan Court of Claims entered an Order finding that the Michigan Legislature’s “adopt and amend” strategy used in 2018 to prevent the Earned Sick Time Act and the Improved Workforce Opportunity Act was illegal.
As a result, those two statutes will come into effect on Feb. 19, 2023, imposing new obligations on all Michigan employers in terms of minimum wage and paid time off obligations for their employees.
Join us Thursday, Nov. 10 at 8 a.m. EST at Oswald Companies Michigan, as Jim Hermon, the leader of Dykema’s Labor and Employment law practice, leads a discussion regarding the changes employers must make as a result of this ruling, as well as strategies to bring organizations into compliance.
Bagels, coffee and complimentary parking will be provided.
