CLEVELAND – Oct. 7, 2019 – Oswald Companies, one of the largest independently owned insurance brokerages in the U.S., has announced the acquisition of UROne Benefits™.
UROne Benefits™ is a health insurance and Medicare benefits brokerage firm, based in Litchfield, Ohio, which specializes in delivering individual and family health insurance, along with the full range of Medicare plans and coverages.
Effective as of Oct. 1, 2019, UROne Benefits™’ employees are now employee-owners of Oswald and will continue operations at their Litchfield office through year-end, with future plans to merge into Oswald’s Medina branch office location.
UROne Benefits™ was founded in 2001 by Stan Sieniawski and his daughter, Nicki Miklos, who serves as Vice President of Sales and Operations. Stan’s son-in-law Matt Miklos serves as Vice President of Marketing and Technology. Prior to UROne Benefits™, Sieniawski spent over 25 years in the Ohio health insurance field including leadership positions at Medical Mutual, Medical Life and CBIZ.
This acquisition marks a culmination of a strategic partnership between UROne Benefits™ and Oswald – the largest employee benefit services firm in Northeast Ohio as ranked by Crain’s Cleveland Business – to meet the individual health insurance and Medicare needs of Oswald’s commercial client base throughout Ohio.
