Cleveland – April 17, 2013 – Oswald Companies, one of the largest independently-owned insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the U.S., has been named a 2013 recipient of the Crain’s Health Care Heroes Awards in the Wellness Category.
As a full service, employee-owned insurance brokerage and consulting firm headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, Oswald implemented a branded wellness program nine years ago called “Oswell.” The program focuses on building awareness and promoting a healthy lifestyle for its employee-owners.
“By offering incentives to motivate employee-owners and their families, we have been able to slow down the escalating costs of health insurance for our organization,” said Robert Klonk, CEO. “Key components of the program include personalized health coaching, nutrition and health education, and various organized activities. This comprehensive wellness strategy, designed in partnership with ERC Health, encourages healthier, happier employees which leads to higher productivity.”
The awards program, presented by Anthem and delivered by Crain’s Cleveland, honors Northeast Ohio’s world-class medical and wellness professionals for their achievements and outstanding level of care. Entrees are judged by an independent panel of health care professionals representing various disciplines.
An awards luncheon to recognize all winners will be May 21 at Executive Caterers at Landerhaven. Learn more at http://www.crainscleveland.com/section/HEALTHCARE_HEROES_Honorees
