Oswald Companies has been ranked by Crain’s Cleveland Business as Northeast Ohio’s largest employee benefit services firm and is listed among the area’s largest privately held companies. The rankings are included in the 2023 edition of The Book, long held as a trusted guide on the local business community.
The Book “is the ultimate guide to everything and everyone in Northeast Ohio business,” Crain’s notes.
The rankings are published with the list of the Power 150, which names Robert Klonk, chairman and CEO of Oswald and its umbrella company, Unison Risk Advisors; and Eddie Taylor, president and CEO of Taylor Oswald, as leaders of “Northeast Ohio’s most influential organizations and who are in a position to move the region forward.”
The honors come as Oswald enters its 130th year in business. Launched in downtown Cleveland in 1893, Oswald has experienced significant growth in recent years and is poised for additional organic growth.
Oswald joined forces with Baltimore-based insurance brokerage RCM&D in 2020, forming Unison Risk Advisors. In 2022, Unison Risk Advisors announced a strategic investment partnership with Peloton Capital Management, a private equity firm in Toronto.
As the second oldest business based in downtown Cleveland, Oswald continues its commitment to community by volunteering and supporting a variety of charitable causes.
