On July 24, 2017, The American Heart Association – the world’s leading voluntary health organization devoted to fighting cardiovascular disease – unveiled its Hands-Only CPR training kiosk with the support of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation, at Cleveland Hopkins International airport. Anthem Foundation is the American Heart Association national partner and founding supporter of the Hands-Only CPR training kiosk program.

According to the official press release, “The kiosk will be one of three Association kiosks that will debut at U.S. airports this summer, including Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International will unveil its kiosk on Aug. 1 and Orlando International will present its kiosk on Aug. 9.”

In addition, “More than 20,000 visitors have already learned Hands-Only CPR from the Association kiosks supported by Anthem Foundation installed in 2016 at the following airports: O’Hare International; Indianapolis International; Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International; and Baltimore-Washington International.”

As announced at the press conference July 24, Oswald Companies is proud to share that it will be sponsoring a second kiosk in partnership with AHA, at Cleveland Hopkins Terminal C with installation slated for fall 2017.

“Thanks to Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation, the kiosk is being placed at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport between terminals A and B. We are especially proud to share that this fall a second Hands-Only CPR Kiosk, generously sponsored by Oswald Companies, will also take up residence in Terminal C in the airport,” said Toni Carlo, Cleveland Metro Executive Director of the American Heart Association.

Carlo added, “Together, Oswald Companies and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation are making a commitment to those who travel in and out of Cleveland. It’s a commitment to health and to the future. Their investment bridges training with new technology to create more lifesavers in our neighborhoods. When individuals learn Hands-Only CPR at this kiosk, we increase our ability to prepare and respond to sudden cardiac arrests as we strive to be well.”

“At Oswald Companies we are deeply committed to the health and safety of our employee-owners, our clients, and communities we serve, and we are proud to partner with The American Heart Association on this critical program,” said Robert J. Klonk, Chief Executive Officer, Oswald Companies.
