CLEVELAND – March 24, 2023 –Loren Crabtree is one of 40 people from across the country to receive a 2023 Break Out Award from Business Insurance magazine. Chosen from an impressive group of nominees, the winners are considered the next generation of industry leaders.

Based in Cleveland, Loren is a senior client manager in executive risk. She joined Oswald in June 2021 and now oversees a $550,000 book of business. She has since become a true advocate for her clients, working to find solutions to complex risk exposures and also educating them on best practices in order to position them as a best-in-class risk in the marketplace.

“She is a true student of the business and never wants to stop learning, said Mary Fessler, team leader and senior client manager in Executive Risk.  “She accepts every opportunity she is given to develop her insurance acumen and it truly shows when she speaks to her customers.”

Oswald client Mark Wester, former chief financial officer of Waxman Industries, has experienced Loren’s commitment firsthand.

“I have worked with Loren significantly, and in the past 15 months, Loren has been a valuable resource in a stressful situation that involved Waxman selling off all of its primary product lines to several acquirers and winding down its business operations.  Loren helped guide us through the challenges by setting up weekly update meetings and adjusting our coverages as needed.  She brought in the right resources and managed the product line sales and wind down very professionally,” he said.

The winners will be honored at events in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York, and profiled in the June issue of Business Insurance.
