This way to help save a life!
CLEVELAND – March 22, 2018 – Oswald Companies, in partnership with The American Heart Association Cleveland, is proud to announce the reveal of signage at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. This installation follows the launch of the airport’s second Hands-Only CPR Kiosk in November 2017.
The signage, located in between gates C2 and C3, directs travelers to the new Hands-Only CPR Kiosk and encourages participation in learning life-saving skills. In about five minutes, the public can learn Hands-Only CPR while waiting for their flights. Additional directive signage can be seen further down in Gate C.
“Oswald Companies’ mission is one of caring, and there’s nothing more critical to our communities than health, safety and security,” said Robert J. Klonk, Chief Executive Officer, Oswald Companies, at the November kiosk unveiling. “We are proud to partner with The American Heart Association on delivering this interactive training program, further extending awareness and education to more airport visitors.”
Klonk added, “Almost 90 percent of people who suffer out-of-hospital cardiac arrests die. CPR can double or even triple a person’s chance of survival. We want to rewrite that ending. We want more people to survive and take 5 minutes to learn how.”
Cleveland Hopkins Airport debuted its first kiosk in July 2017 as part of a national event, presented by AHA and Anthem Foundation in Terminals A and B. The new kiosk completed the 2017 plan.
