CLEVELAND – May 13, 2020 – Led by OswaldCARES, Oswald’s internal charitable committee, Oswald Companies’ 2021 Harvest for Hunger campaign raised $30,000 for the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. The firm set and reached the $30,000 goal to commemorate the 30-year anniversary of the Food Bank’s Harvest for Hunger campaign.

Harvest for Hunger is Northeast Ohio’s annual hunger relief campaign, serving four local food banks and 21 counties. Every spring, Oswald takes part in Harvest for Hunger as a signal to our community; we put our mission of caring into action. Every $1 donated helps provide four nutritious meals or $10 worth of food.

“We are continually moved by the generosity of our team members and appreciate their commitment to this cause,” said Robert Klonk, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Oswald Companies. “The annual Harvest For Hunger campaign offers an incredible opportunity to provide direct support to individuals and families in our community and we congratulate the Food Bank on the 30th anniversary of this campaign.”

Also, pledges by our Akron and Medina offices were donated to support the Akron Canton Regional Food Bank, in addition to year-round service and donation drives throughout our branch communities.
