Oswald Employee‑Owners Support Greater Cleveland Food Bank Through Day of Caring

At Oswald, commitment to community is more than a value. It is something we put into action. This week, Oswald employee‑owners came together for a two‑day effort to support the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, helping address food insecurity across Northeast Ohio through both donations and hands‑on service.

From Oswald Tower to the Food Bank Floor

The week began with a canned food drive at Oswald Tower, where employee‑owners collected shelf‑stable food items to support neighbors facing hunger. The response was strong, with contributions from across the organization and the surrounding community. The following day, Oswald employee‑owners participated in a Day of Caring at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank in collaboration with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Volunteers spent the day sorting and preparing food donations for distribution to families throughout the region. By the end of the day, teams had sorted 12,000 pounds of donated food, helping move essential resources more quickly to those who need them most.

Supporting the Mission Through Time and Resources

In addition to volunteering, Oswald presented a $14,000 donation to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank to further support its mission of providing nutritious food and essential resources to the community. The Greater Cleveland Food Bank serves as a critical partner in addressing hunger across Northeast Ohio, distributing food to hundreds of local agencies and programs. Oswald is proud to support this work through both financial contributions and employee‑owner involvement.
