CINCINNATI – December 16, 2019 – Moira Lyon, Cincinnati Market Leader, Oswald Companies, has been recognized as a YWCA Rising Star honoree.
Moira is among a group of 43 young professional female leaders between the ages of 25 and 40 chosen in the class of 2020. The Rising Star Leadership Program empowers and equips high-performing women to become equity leaders. This unique development experience strengthens leadership skills and prepares participants for non-profit board service while connecting them to a powerful network of accomplished female leaders.
Sessions are facilitated by local and national experts and cover a wide variety of topics from building executive skills to balancing career, board, and home life. In the spirit of the YWCA’s pioneering history of leading racial justice initiatives, the program presents very direct and specific training on eliminating discrimination and promoting racial and gender equity.
Moira has continued her passion for learning with time through Chubb Insurance on a year-long program at Wharton Business School. She enjoys her charitable work with the Cincinnati Art Museum and Scouts BSA, where she serves on boards and committees. Moira was honored as Forty Under 40 by the Cincinnati Business Courier in 2016.
