CLEVELAND – Nov. 7, 2017 – Oswald Companies, in partnership with The American Heart Association Cleveland, is proud to announce the installation of a new Hands-Only CPR Kiosk at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. Anthem Foundation is the American Heart Association national founding supporter of the program.

The kiosk, located in Terminal C, will be unveiled at a press conference, 1 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 9, featuring guest speakers: Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Director, Robert Kennedy; AHA Cleveland Metro Board Chair, Fred DeGrandis; City of Cleveland Chief of Regional Development, Edward Rybka; Chief Executive Officer Oswald Companies, Robert Klonk; and CPR advocate, Christi Nelson. There will also be remarks by Lara Perkins, CPR advocate and the mother of 17-year-old Caleb Perkins, who is a survivor of cardiac arrest.

“Oswald Companies’ mission is one of caring, and there’s nothing more critical to our communities than health, safety and security,” said Robert J. Klonk, Chief Executive Officer, Oswald Companies. “We are proud to partner with The American Heart Association to deliver the next phase of this critical program, further extending awareness and education to more airport visitors.”

Klonk added, “The kiosk offers the opportunity for those traveling to and from Cleveland, to take five minutes to learn the skills that could save a life.”

Cleveland Hopkins Airport debuted its first kiosk in July 2017 as part of a national event, presented by AHA and Anthem Foundation in Terminals A and B. The new kiosk completes the 2017 plan.

“As we look to the future, it is vital we continue to train lifesavers to perform CPR,” said Toni Carlo, Cleveland Metro Executive Director of the American Heart Association. “Sudden cardiac arrests occur everywhere, and we are grateful for the support of Oswald Companies as we work to make CPR training increasingly available in our community.”
