CINCINNATI – Sept. 13, 2023 – Oswald Companies’ Cincinnati office was named among the Best Places to Work by the Cincinnati Business Courier.
This is the first year Oswald competed in the listing. “Best Places to Work foster a workplace where employees willingly go above and beyond in their work, advocate for the organization and intend to stay into the future,” the Courier noted.
Oswald’s culture of commitment was demonstrated in positive survey results from employee-owners, which earned Oswald an overall score of 92.15 out of 100. Participating in the survey were 22 Oswald Cincinnati employees.
“We truly care about our employees, and we demonstrate that by creating an inclusive workplace that fosters work/life balance and focuses on wellness,” said Moira Lyon, Oswald Cincinnati market leader. “Our employees pay it forward by working hard to take care of our clients.”
Many employers often lament that employee benefits packages are key to recruiting and retaining the best. Oswald scored 15 percentage points higher in employee benefits than its peers of the same size.
Overall, Oswald Cincinnati employees noted they are highly engaged at work. Survey results provided by the magazine noted randomly chosen quotes provided by those surveyed, employee identification not included.

“I’ve worked at Oswald for many years, and they continue to transform for the betterment of their employees and clients.”
Others seem to agree. Of those surveyed, 92% of women and 90% of men agree with the following statement: If I contribute to the organization’s success, I know I will be recognized.
Employees also agree that teamwork is responsible for the company’s success in its 130 years in business. When asked what word best describes their work environment, Oswald employees most often responded with “collaborative.”
