CLEVELAND – May 17, 2016 – Oswald Companies has been selected to receive the Advancing Women Award, at the 2016 Women of Distinction Awards Luncheon, presented by Girl Scouts of North East Ohio, Friday, May 20, at the Union Club, Cleveland.

Oswald was chosen for this honor for its proven commitment to promoting the advancement of women in the workplace, including: mentorship and sponsorship programs at the company, work/life balance support, community engagement, supplier diversity, women’s leadership and management and affinity groups/affiliations.

Girl Scouts of North East Ohio established the Women of Distinction award to honor women who go above and beyond to make our communities better places to live, work, and raise a family. The women honored are selected for their remarkable achievements as business, community, and civic leaders dedicated to supporting opportunities for women and girls. Oswald Women On The Move: Cathy Kosin, Oswald Women’s Leadership Council Co-Chair, was recently promoted to Market Leader for Oswald’s Detroit Office. Kosin is a Senior Vice President with Oswald. With this advancement, Oswald now has women leading two of its offices, including Moira Lyon, who is Market Leader for Oswald Cincinnati.
